VITAPONTE
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
This policy explains how VitaPonte handles information when you visit our website or use our connected services. The information involved depends on the features you use and your relationship with VitaPonte or an agency.
Our role
VitaPonte provides technology to homecare agencies and their authorized users. Agencies provide and manage their own services and customer relationships. When VitaPonte processes information for an agency, the agency’s privacy notice and its agreement with VitaPonte may also apply. Please contact your agency about its care and information practices.
Information we may receive
- Contact and business details you submit, including your name, email, agency details, service area and assessment answers.
- Account and operational information, such as role, agency affiliation, booking details, visit activity, preferences and support messages, when you use those features.
- Information you choose to connect or share through available features, which may include health readings, device information or location. Availability and permissions depend on the service, device and your choices.
- Technical information generated when you use the service, such as device and browser details, network information, security events and service activity.
Please do not include patient records, passwords or payment card details in public inquiry forms or general questions.
How information is used
We use information to respond to inquiries, operate and support services, authenticate users, coordinate requested features, maintain security, investigate problems, comply with legal obligations and improve our services. Where a feature requests permission or consent, its use is subject to those choices and applicable law.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be available to the agency and people authorized for the relevant service or care relationship. We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, communications, support and other operations, and may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. The details of agency-directed processing are governed by the applicable agreements and permissions.
If you use a third-party service or device, that provider’s own terms and privacy practices also apply. Connecting a device does not automatically authorize sharing with caregivers or family members; review the choices shown in the relevant app.
Health information
Some optional features can process health-related information you choose to provide or connect. The app should ask for applicable permissions before accessing device health data. Health information may be subject to specific laws or contractual requirements depending on the circumstances. Not every service or record is necessarily covered by HIPAA.
Cookies, security and retention
The website and services may use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in, security and operation. Browser controls can restrict cookies, although parts of the service may then not work. We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Information is retained for as long as needed for the relevant service, business, contractual or legal purposes. Retention periods can vary by information type, agency instructions and legal requirements.
Your choices and rights
You may ask about access, correction or deletion of your information, and other rights may apply depending on where you live and the nature of the information. We may need to verify your identity and may be required or permitted to retain certain records. If your information is held for an agency, contact that agency as well. Device and app permissions may be changed in the relevant settings.
California residents may have additional rights under applicable law, including rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of certain uses or disclosures. Contact us using the method below to make a request or ask about our practices.
Children and changes
Our services are intended for adults and authorized agency users; they are not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The date at the top indicates when this version was last updated.
